COVID 19: A Message From Our Managing Director

RE: COVID-19 Update from Tuff Tonneaus Wholesale Pty Ltd
 
Due to the current Victorian Level 4 Restrictions, we have had to alter the way we do business.
 
At this time, we are unable to manufacture products, however our dedicated customer service team are still here for you to assist in any way they can. We are also able to dispatch some accessory orders, as these are stocked lines.
 
While we are doing everything possible to maintain business as usual, it certainly is not business as usual.
 
During the lock down, our phone may not be monitored during our normal hours, so emailing your enquiries is the easiest way for us to assist you. If you have questions or need information about our products, please feel free to email us at [email protected], or search our website for details about our huge range.
 
Although we are currently unable to manufacture, we are still able to process orders, and will ship them out as soon as we are able to return to manufacturing. As the situation evolves we will continue to provide updates to everyone, and keep you advised of our progress towards returning to business as usual.
 
Your ongoing support during this time is very much appreciated, and we look forward to getting back to supplying our quality Australian Made products to you all in the very near future.

Dear Tuff Tonneaus Client,
 
RE: COVID-19 Update from Tuff Tonneaus Wholesale Pty Ltd
 
The developing situation regarding COVID-19 has created uncertainty and concern in our community. We would like to update you on the proactive approach that Tuff Tonneaus is implementing to mitigate the impact of the virus within our business in the days and months ahead.
 
We are prioritising the health and safety of our clients, team members and supply chain partners. We have framed our operating arrangements around these priorities. We look to and heed the advice of the medical professionals and Government bodies, with a view to managing these risks appropriately.
 
From a business operations point of view, we plan to continue to operate our office and manufacturing site as normal for the foreseeable future. We are developing contingency plan scenarios for our business operations in the event the Government takes further steps in managing the virus spread (such as possible future office and or factory closures). These plans will minimise disruption to our operations.
 
For clients with current orders with us, we are not currently anticipating delays to the completion of your products. Generally, all our team members are able to work observing the ‘social distancing’ recommended by the authorities. Broadly, the supply of materials required for your Tonneau Cover or Accessories are sourced or manufactured here in Australia. Certain materials are manufactured overseas, however due to careful and prudent planning in middle to late 2019 we have given ourselves plenty of stock to withstand any potential delay with Chinese NewYear which has now turned out to be a delay due to COVID-19. This forethought has served us and our clients very well in early 2020. From here, our supply chain partners locally and abroad are working hard to ensure there is is little to no disruption to the availability of our raw materials. Should we encounter any material shortages we will manage these on a case-by- case basis, in consultation with you if required. Overall, we anticipate manufacturing to continue as usual.
 
We are proactively initiating ‘social distancing’ recommendations through our office and manufacturing site, and have asked our team members to exercise good ‘social distancing’ practices both at the office and after hours. This includes arranging non-essential meetings to be conducted by telephone or video conference rather than face-to-face wherever possible. Per the Governments directive, from midnight 16 March 2020 all people returning to Australia from overseas travel are required to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days. We request that anyone planning to visit our office including clients, or supply chain partners to observe this directive. We further request that anyone who is feeling unwell to reschedule any ‘in person’ meetings or conduct them digitally instead. If you have visited us in person and become unwell or are diagnosed with COVID-19 we ask you contact us immediately so we can take steps to ensure the wellbeing of our team and prevent any further spread.
 
You can take comfort that Tuff Tonneaus are proactively managing our business arrangements through these challenging times. We will continue to monitor the situation, continue to follow the advice of the experts, and commit to keeping you informed should any developments impact your current or future orders.
